About Adrian Harris and his doors and windows journey
I have been working with wood, mainly in the furniture industry, for over 20 years.
I learnt my craft in England before moving to New Zealand in 1990, where I've worked making and restoring furniture. Also I spent 2 years fitting out luxury state-of-the-art catamarans. The extra skills with modern materials and boat building methods increased my repertoire and allow me to come up with innovative ways to complete even the most challenging pieces of furniture.
I started working for myself in 1997 and have since built up a substantial workshop with high quality machinery, producing custom-made furniture and other timber-based products.
I am also a director of Mahootus the Hot-tub Company, an original concept in outdoor hot tubs requiring no electricity, no chemicals, no plumbing.
